In the above example, the client came to me with an inherited ruby & diamond gold ring along with a pile of gold at the end of its life. Working to her brief i refined the gold and used it to create a new band for the ruby & diamond cluster, along with two accompanying rose gold bands. All three parts were engraved with her family names and hallmarked.
